Well on a no rainy day at all some bytes about the impact of the mumbai rain, all my own work.
Its strange how in spite of all the technology of the world one thing which we have failed along with the MRF weatherman is obviously the weather. We have never been able to predict nor forecast the weather at all. When we are having heavy rains they could not predict but they did warn us of heavier rains in the next 48 hours and guess what not a single drop came in those 48 hours.
Another observation made is that its always the poor that are most affected by the rains. Is there any funda of how u have lived your previous life which determines the faith of your current life. Maybe my friend Agam, can add some humour in this philosophy. I feel that where you are borne is your destiny what u make of yourself is your hardwork .
And one more observation made is that its always the suburbs that get more rain and have all the damage done. Whereas town ppl are relatively safe and also there are very few cases of water logging heard of. So y does the government not do something to improve the suburbs which seem to be growing faster then the rate of termites ? Mumbai seems to be stretching much more then what it used to be. Infrastructure however is not improving but property rates only seem to be going up no matter what.
Too all my dear friends who were stranded you have done a great job and have been extremely brave.
So get back to those lovely rain songs and sing in the RAIN.
